In the midst of Internet boom, Wowrack would like to extend our product offerings to include colocation hosting in order to satisfy the most extreme Internet hosting needs. Our facility is located in the westin building in downtown Seattle, WA, the largest Internet hub in Northwest United States. Being in such a prestige location, Wowrack is able to offer high uptime backed by fast and redundant Internet connections, state of the art redundant power generators, raised floor facilities with proper cooling, 24/7 security and knowledgeable staffs. We entertain colocation offer from 1U server to any number of server racks up to 5000 sq feet in datacenter size.

Colocation is defined as a web hosting service where the customer's server equipment is hosted in the web hosting provider's data center. The provider is responsible for the power and network connection in order to bring the equipment online, while the customers are responsible for all work on the server and all of the data on the server.

Since Wowrack's colocation customer comes from all over United States and other parts of the world, most of our customer only ship their equipments to us. However if you are local and would like to access our datacenter, you are most indefinitely welcome! Our standard datacenter access hours are Monday to Friday 8 a.m - 5 p.m. Please contact us ahead of time and make an appointment in order to get escort to your equipments. After business hour access are charged at $75 / hour.
95th percentile calculation
95th percentile is defined as the smallest number that is greater than 95% of the numbers in a given set. This is a very accurate measure that becomes the industry standard. To illustrate, lets say you purchase 1 mbps of bandwidth measured at 95th percentile and you use the connection mostly to serve small webpages. However, sometimes you also need to download very large files. Should you only have capped 1 mbps connection, you would only be able to download at maximum of 1 mbps. However, since your bandwidth is measured at 95th percentile, you will be able to burst to the maximum speed that your ISP allows you. This way the cost to the ISP is negligible since you are only intermittently using the bandwidth. Both the ISP and customers win this way. The ISP are able to oversell their bandwidth subscription and the customers are able to burst at a very fast speed without having to actually pay for the entire connection. 95th percentile allows customer to pay for their actual usage.

Capped bandwidth
Capped bandwidth means that when you purchase 1 mbps of service, you would only be able to burst up to 1 mbps. The only advantage of using this service is not having to worry about surprise bandwidth charges at the end of the month. Since you're allotted 1 mbps of connection, it is entirely up to you how you would like to use that connection. You can do 24/7 transfer at 1mbps and will NOT be charged for extra bandwidth usage. This option is better for customers that only have limited bandwidth budget.
Cross connect anywhere within our facility is provided at no additional charge. If you would like a cross connect to the meet me room, it will be charged monthly at $250. If you would like to cross connect to different building (or your own facility), the cost would be $250 + any additional cost for cross connect.
By colocating your server, it does not mean that you'll have to manage your server on your own. Wowrack offers excellent managed services plans that allows our engineers to manage your equipments.
