1. Allows Hosting Administrators to create resellers and plans.
2. Allows reseller to mark up prices for the available plans and optionally create their own auto signup pages.
3. Allows visitors to signup to the hosting service using major credit cards (or offline payment methods)
4. Immediately upon authorization of the credit cards (major gateways supported), their websites are created.
5. All entries in IIS are made for the newly created website.
6. All required folders created on the path given by the Hosting Administrator.
7. Security on those folders is set using the currently available best practices for Windows.
8. Proper FTP settings are done depending on whether the site is IP less or IP based.
9. FTP user accounts are created and disk quotas are set.
10. Statistics servers are intialized.
11. Entries in the DNS servers are properly done.
12. A new domain is created in the Email server and an administrator account created for the website owner to be able to maintain his email accounts from there. Quota for the maximum number of POP users is also set.
13. Invoice is raised for the user for the said services and adjusted against the payment received.
14. Admin virtual directory is created for the user to be able to do its day to day operations using HC. (see details below)
15. SQL Server database is created on the SQL server (if required).
16. Front Page extensions are installed (if required)
17. Domain name is also registered through supported domain name registrars with proper name servers (if required).
Once a website is created its owner can then do all the day to day operations using the /admin virtual directory using his login name and password. These operations include:
1. Creation of new MS Access and MS SQL Server ODBC DSNs.
2. Creation on new SQL server databases (if included in the plan).
3. Manage DNS for the website.
4. Management of POP users and all other operations supported by the Email server installed.
5. Change default plans.
6. Create a trouble ticket for the reseller. (reseller can then escalate the ticket to the Hosting Administrator and Hosting Administrator can then escalate that ticket to the HC support team).
7. Add/edit/delete FTP users for his site.
8. Manage permissions for these FTP users.
9. Add / Alter / Delete / View Serv-U ftp sites.
10. Password protect directories.
11. Enable or disable PHP or Perl for his website (if available).
12. Register a new COM object (If allowed by the Hosting Administrator).
13. Turn on Statistics for his website and view them.
14. Manage all aspects of Front page.
15. Index sites (If Index Server available).
16. Add all other available resources to his website. Examples include disk quota, ODBC DSN quota, ASPFusion.net components, SQL server databases, POP accounts, bandwidth or anything else available on the server as a resource.
In addition to this HC does complete invoicing/billing for all its resellers and Hosting Administrators.
