Go to your server login page specified in your welcome email. It will be something similar to http://servername.wowrack.com/siteadmin, Click on the Login link and enter your username / password in the specified boxes. |

- Login with web administrator username and password
- Click on Serv-U FTP, Global Users on the left panel
- Click on Add new user
- Fill in all the required fields

3. How do I FTP my web files to the server? top..
You can use a popular FTP client such as CuteFTP (www.globalscape.com) or Bulletproof FTP (www.bpftp.com). Connect to your FTP server at ftp.yourdomain.com, logging in with your login name and password
- If your domain is on Virtual IP, use the following info as your FTP server:
- FTP Server: servername.wowrack.com (e.g: server11.wowrack.com)
- Virtual Directory: yourdomain.com
- Username: Your Login Name
- Password: Your Requested Password
- If your domain is on static IP address, use the following info as your FTP server:
- FTP Server: your domain name or your assigned IP address
- Username: Your Login Name
- Password: Your Requested Password

4. What are the folders in my FTP server? top..
There should be 4 folders in your FTP server. Following are the information on the different folders:
- Db - This is the database folder. Place your database in this location.
- Log - This folder contains your raw log file. You can download it to evaluate your logs. Please note that this log folder tend to grow very fast. Please clean this folder regularly.
- Special - This is the folder that holds all your email. Please do not mess with it.
- www - You can put all your web files in this folder. This folder is the root folder in your web server.

Wowrack do not allow anonymous FTP into your ftp server due to many past FTP hijack problems that we've experienced. |

- Login to your siteadmin, and click on the Scripting link on the left panel.
- Choose your website and click on the appropriate boxes to enable/disable Perl and PHP.

8. How can I assign security to my folders? top..
Important !! You can totally lock your website out if you don't know what you are doing here. Please make sure that you are absolutely sure to change the folder security.
You can assign security through your siteadmin.
- Login to your siteadmin, and click on Folder security, security setup on your left panel.
- Browse to the folder or files that you'd like to apply folder security.
- Click on Permissions on the right column, and apply the appropriate permissions.
- You might not want to disable access to Everyone as it will make the file not available to anonymous Internet users.

9. How do I create a custom 404 page? top..
- First off, please upload your custom 404 page into your FTP server.
- Login to your siteadmin, and click on the Domains, list website link on the left panel.
- Make sure the right domain radio button is chosen and click properties.
- Click on Error Messages Tab.
- Click on 404 radio button and scroll down to click on "Edit Properties" tab.
- Click Browse and select your custom 404 page.

- Browse to http://yourserver.v2host.com/siteadmin
- Login with your webadmin username and password
- Click on Domains on your left panel
- Click on List Websites
- Select the radio button on your website and click on properties
- On the default page form, the default page to the document you wanted. You can separate documents with comma (,) (i.e: Default.htm,default.asp,index.php)

11. How do create Access ODBC DSN? top..
- Browse to http://yourserver.v2host.com/siteadmin
- Login with web administrator username and password
- Click on ODBC DSN on the left panel and Add DSN
- Fill in the fields:
- DSN Name: Your desired DSN name
- Description: Optional field for description of your DNS. We suggest putting in your domain name
- DSN Driver: Select the appropriate DSN driver
- Click ‘Next’
- Click browse and navigate to your access database. (We suggest placing your database in the "db" folder)

Yes you can, but we suggest that you administer your files through FTP, a more robust file management utility.
To administer your files through control panel, do the following:
- Login to your siteadmin, and click on the Directories link on the left panel.
- File management features is self explanatory through the file manager.

- Click on reports on the left panel
- Click on disk usage
- Select your username and click next

You need to contact support@wowrack.com to enable your CGI-BIN. Please make sure you know what you are doing with CGI-BIN as it can pose security problems to the shared server. |

- Login to your siteadmin, and click on the preferences link on the left panel.
- Click on the change password tab.
- Fill in the rest of the password information.

You can login to your webmail by typing address in this format http://www.yourdomain.com:8383

18. What is my email username? top..
By default, your email username is your login username. If you have a virtual IP domain, your username is: loginname@yourdomain.com (i.e: mydomain.com@mydomain.com). |

19. How do I add email users? top..
- Login as administrator (web user administrator account created in Step 1) to your email by navigating to http://mail.yourdomain.com:8383
- For IP based domain, login with username and password
- For Virtual IP based domain, login with:
- Username: username@domain.com (e.g: administrator@mydomain.com)
- Click on the drop down box that says “Administrative account options”
- Select User administration.
- Click add to add mailboxes
- Fill in the field:
- UserID: This will be the user mailbox ID. It may be from 3 to 30 characters long may be from 3 to 30 characters long (e.g: sales)
- First Name: Enter user first name
- Last Name: Enter user last name
- Password: Type in your password
- Confirm Password: Re-type your password
- Max Mailbox Size: The maximum size (in bytes) for each mailbox created in the user's mail account. If a mailbox exceeds the maximum, any new mail for the mailbox is returned to the sender. Enter 0 for unlimited size.
- Max Num Messages: The maximum number of messages (the total for all mailboxes created in the user's mail account). If the maximum is exceeded, any new mail for the user is returned to the sender. Enter 0 for unlimited size.
- Check on ‘Allow web access’ if you’d like the user to be able to check their email from the web browser.
- Click Save

20. How do I enable catch all? top..
You can enable catch all to forward all unresolved email address to a single mailbox. For instance, if the user maryjones@yourdomain.com did not exist, any mail directed to maryjones' mailbox will be forwarded to another mailbox. To set this up:
- Login to your webmail control panel at http://www.yourdomain.com:8383.
- Click on Alias Administration.
- Select user nobody and click on modify.
- On the destination box, enter the desired email address to forward all unresolved mails. For instance, administrator@yourdomain.com. Make sure the mailbox for administrator exist to ensure delivery.

21. What is Manage Mailboxes? top..
Mailboxes are more like a folder on your email system. You can create, delete and rename your mailbox folder through this feature. This feature is NOT used to create new email users. |

22. How do I password protect my folder or files? top..
In order to password protect your website, you'll have to login to your control panel and do the following task:
- Login with your web admin username provided from the welcome email.
- Click on Folder Security, Security Setup on the left panel
- Step 1: Click on your folder name and click the select folder to navigate down to 'domain.com\www' folder. (replace domain.com with your appropriate domain name)
- Step 2: You will see the detailed permissions in this step. Remove Everyone and domain.co_web username from the folder / file permission in order to password protect the folder / file.
- Optional: You might want to create additional username in order for the user to access the protected folders / files. You will then need to add read permission for that user to the folder / file security permission.
Warning: Wrong security modification on your folder / files could cause your website to be inaccessible. Please make sure you know what you are doing before modifying the permissions. Please do not hesitate to contact our support team if you have any questions/comments on this process.
